What an eBay MC018 notice is asking you to answer

MC018 is an internal code on some eBay messages. The code is not the whole case. The sentences under it are. Read those sentences and write down the exact conduct, listing, or document they say is the problem. If the message also names a policy, use that policy’s words, not a paraphrase you half remember.

A useful reply stays inside that scope. State the fact they asked about, the document or listing that matches it, and the change you have already made if one was needed. Do not attach a folder of unrelated invoices because the upload box allows it. Extra paper that does not match the sentence in the notice is noise.

Do not open another seller account while this one is restricted, and do not send a second letter until they have answered the first. A second account, or a second letter that repeats the first, is a new problem.

Sellers use the code as a search term. The decision is still made from the notice in your account, not from someone else’s MC018. If your message describes a different issue, answer that issue.
